When Ben Perkins was a kid he absolutely loathed anytime he had to put on a dress shirt, enough so that he started trying to make a better version at only 13 years old. That hatred was the fuel he needed to set out on his mission to make the most comfortable and stylish dress shirts of all time.
Spending $200K per year on returns
With a promise of being the most comfortable dress shirt you’ve ever worn, there was an obvious need for &Collar to have a killer customer experience when someone buys a shirt that doesn’t feel perfect. Having software to manage a very robust return offering is high on the list of priorities. But before using Redo, &Collar was paying $200,000 every year for return software and shipping labels. And most importantly, &collar wanted to ensure when a shopper had a subpar experience, they could exchange their shirt for another shirt they would love.

A new way for returns
Redo flipped return software on its head by introducing a new pricing model that has no cost to the merchants. So for a brand like &Collar, it was immediately interesting, albeit with some skepticism.
After trying a slew of different solutions around returns and shipping protection, Ben was blown away to hear he could get all of that without having to spend any money. Making the switch to Redo was a total no brainer from a cost savings perspective. And once they had migrated over to Redo, they realized they weren't just saving money, but making more from Redo's software incentivizing shoppers to exchange over refund their items.

&Collar was obviously invested in creating a great experience for their customers, but in reality they knew if a customer has a bad first experience with a product, they'll likely never see them shop at their store again
